What is eKashu and how does it work?
eKashu is a payment gateway, also called a Payment Service Provider
(PSP). eKashu’s range of products provide the secure link between
your website and your acquiring bank enabling you to accept payments
from your internet customers. Sophisticated security measures are in
place to ensure that your customers’ card details are kept secure
throughout the transaction process.
There are three products within eKashu and your choice largely depends on the
number of transactions you anticipate processing.

eKashu Payment Page
eKashu Payment Page is a simple, configurable, checkout page that can be called
from any website seeking to offer visitors the facility to pay for goods or services
by credit and debit card. It is designed for merchants who use shopping carts, have
little experience in server side scripting, or who use shared web servers that do
not offer database services.
 |
Easy to set up: eKashu Payment Page is readily integrated with most of the major shopping carts.
|
 |
Simple Integration: with just a few lines of HTML, your website can be ready to accept payment.
|
 |
Complete security: your customers enter their card details on the eKashu secure payment pages, so we take care of the transaction security for them. As you never see the card details, you are not responsible for keeping them secure.
|
 |
Customisabe payment pages: You can maintain your brand image by customising the payment pages to the look and feel of your website.
|
 |
E-mail alerts: We send both you and your customer an e-mail to confirm the status of each transaction.
|
 |
WebMIS: provided as part of eKashu Payment Page so you can view and manage your transactions and refunds (see below).
|
With eKashu Payment Page, all transaction information is held by eKashu including
the full shopping cart contents. E-mail alerts are sent from the eKashu servers to
you and your customers to confirm the success or failure of the payment. The
customer is redirected to eKashu to enter their card details, so no sensitive
information needs to be taken or stored on your site thereby removing the need
for you to maintain highly secure encrypted databases, or obtain digital certificates.
The final "Pay Now" button on your website is your link to the eKashu System.
Once the customer has selected their purchases, entered delivery details, billing
address and so forth, all on your own site, and pressed the final 'proceed' button;
a small script on your server calls the eKashu payment page, where your customer
enters their contact and card details. At the bottom of that page is a "Pay Now"
button which submits the information entered to eKashu for authorisation.
Virtual Terminal
This is designed for submitting manual transactions in the event that say, your
normal automatic methods fail, or if you just want to process small volumes of Mail
Order / Telephone Order (MOTO) transactions. This service is the equivalent of
a ’PDQ’ type terminal and can be used wherever an internet connection and web
browser is available.
Note that you cannot use the same merchant account for both internet and virtual
terminal transactions. It is normally a very simple procedure to set up an additional
merchant account with your acquiring bank
WebMIS Transaction Management System
The CreditCall WebMIS is a versatile web-based system which allows you to view
and manage the status of, and produce reports on your transactions, settlements
and refunds. For corporate users with multiple secure logins, it allows a hierarchy
of access permissions to suit organisational needs.
